Definitions
In this Privacy Policy, the capitalized terms below carry the following meanings. "Site" means the website at voogli.com, which Hillcrest Bathware operates. "Hillcrest Bathware," "we" and "us" refer to that operator. "Customer" or "you" means any person who visits the Site or buys from it. "Order" means a purchase submitted through the Site. "Personal Information" means information that identifies a particular Customer or can reasonably be linked to one. "Processor" means a third-party payment service that handles payment for an Order.
1. Scope
1.1 This Privacy Policy describes the manner in which Hillcrest Bathware gathers, applies, discloses and safeguards Personal Information whenever a Customer browses the Site or submits an Order.
2. Categories of Personal Information
2.1 Identification and contact data: a Customer's name, email address and telephone number, together with the addresses supplied for delivery and billing.
2.2 Transaction data: the items purchased under each Order, the Customer's purchase history, and any correspondence between the Customer and our support staff.
2.3 Technical data: IP address, browser type, device identifiers, the pages a Customer views, the URL that referred the Customer to the Site, and associated timestamps.
3. Payment Data
3.1 An Order is paid for using a method presented at checkout, as further described in our Payment Policy. Payment is completed through Shopify's checkout and through the Processor that corresponds to the method the Customer selects.
3.2 Hillcrest Bathware does not retain complete card numbers or other payment credentials on its servers. Such data passes directly to the Processor, which handles it in accordance with PCI-DSS standards.
4. Lawful Uses
4.1 Hillcrest Bathware applies Personal Information for the purposes listed below:
- completing and delivering Orders, which covers payment, shipment, returns and refunds;
- corresponding with Customers regarding their Orders and furnishing customer support;
- detecting and preventing fraud and transactions that a Customer has not authorized;
- enhancing the Site and the products and services offered on it;
- complying with legal obligations that bind us; and
- sending promotional communications, but only where the Customer has consented, and subject to the Customer's right to withdraw from them whenever he or she wishes.
5. Disclosure to Service Providers
5.1 Personal Information is disclosed only so far as our business operations require, namely to: (a) Shopify, which provides our e-commerce platform; (b) Processors, for the secure handling of transactions; (c) shipping carriers, for the delivery of Orders; and (d) analytics providers, which help us understand how the Site is used and improve its performance.
5.2 Hillcrest Bathware may further disclose Personal Information where a law, regulation or legal process compels it, or where disclosure is needed to protect our rights, property or safety.
5.3 Hillcrest Bathware does not sell, rent or trade Personal Information to any third party for that party's own marketing.
6. Cookies and Similar Technologies
6.1 The Site relies on cookies and comparable technologies to function, to retain a Customer's preferences and to analyze traffic. A Customer may control cookies through his or her browser settings; however, disabling them may impair certain features of the Site.
7. Retention Period
7.1 Personal Information is retained for the period required to complete Orders, furnish support, satisfy legal obligations and settle disputes. Once it is no longer required, it is securely erased or rendered anonymous.
8. Security Measures
8.1 Hillcrest Bathware maintains administrative, technical and physical safeguards for Personal Information. Data travelling between a Customer's browser and our servers is protected by SSL/TLS encryption.
8.2 Because no means of electronic transmission or storage is entirely secure, Hillcrest Bathware cannot warrant absolute security.
9. Customer Rights
9.1 Every Customer is entitled to: (a) obtain access to, correct or erase his or her Personal Information; (b) withdraw from marketing communications whenever he or she wishes, whether through the unsubscribe link or by contacting us; and (c) ask which Personal Information we hold about him or her.

10. Additional Rights of California Residents
10.1 Customers who reside in California hold the following additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA):
- Right to Know. A Customer may request both the categories and the specific items of Personal Information we have collected about him or her.
- Right to Delete. A Customer may request erasure of his or her Personal Information, subject to certain exceptions recognized by law.
- Right to Opt Out. Hillcrest Bathware does not sell Personal Information. Should that practice change, we will offer a clear means of opting out.
- Right to Non-Discrimination. A Customer who exercises any privacy right will not receive different treatment on that account.
10.2 A CCPA request is submitted by email to support@voogli.com bearing the subject line "CCPA Request."
11. Minors
11.1 The Site is not directed to children under 13, and Hillcrest Bathware does not knowingly gather Personal Information from any such child. Anyone who believes that a child under 13 has supplied Personal Information to us should let us know, and we will delete that information promptly.
12. Amendments
12.1 Hillcrest Bathware may revise this Privacy Policy periodically. Each revision will be published on this page bearing a new effective date, and Customers are encouraged to review this page from time to time.
